The Creative Campus Film Complex
In early 2024, Goddard College closed its program after 150 years of being a progressive education innovator and leader. Famous for launching the careers of David Mamet, William H. Macy, Phish, Grace Potter and many more, the campus legacy was refocused by new ownership behind an aligned mission for hosting arts and education projects and programs.
One of these programs is the new Goddard Film Complex, set on 131 bucolic Vermont acres, featuring a dozen historically preserved Tudor Revival style structures, a 12,000 square foot Brutalist library with film and sound studio space, with 8 large meeting spaces, 2 large dormitory style lodges housing 120 guests, a 250 capacity theater with lighting rig and state-of-the art sound system, a restaurant and pub, and a hundred acres of pristine meadows and trails secluded from view and sight from adjoining properties.

There are a great deal of alluring interior and exterior settings on our Campus. Whether Victorian era period piece, an autumnal mystery, a New England agrarian horror, or a back-to-school or camp comedy, the architecture and natural settings on campus will lend genuine gravity to your shots. You'll get great looks for university, sacred spaces, agrarian, intricate gardens, office halls, residential and a wide variety of forests and fields (marshland to meadows).
With lodging for 100 on campus, and onsite catering for more, you can sleep and feed your crew comfortably without ever leaving the site. Want to bring in your catering? There's plenty of space for food trucks to park nearby. Crew members looking for some down-time at the end of the day can enjoy a meal and some music in our cozy restaurant and lounge.

Production spaces abound; never feel cramped for wardrobe, hair and makeup. There are plenty of options for holding spaces for actors to have their own rooms, for the director and producers to brief and debrief, for production to set-up and office spaces for the art department to spread out.
We have loading docks for box truck deliveries, large parking lots, plots for video villages and tent cities, at least four entrance exit points to major routes and paved roads, and we offer high speed Wifi throughout.

We remain operational even in the dead of a real Vermont winter. We are less than a fifteen-minute drive to the nearest major hospital, and under forty-five minutes to Burlington International Airport.
The Creative Campus at Goddard will imbue your project with mystique and authenticity, all the while being a convenient and cost-efficient location for a one-of-a-kind rural production. Bring your next film to TCC at Goddard.
